Jeff Ellis (recording Engineer)
Jeff Ellis (born 16 July 1984) is an American recording engineer and mix engineer. His most notable work was featured on both of Frank Ocean's critically acclaimed albums: ''Channel Orange'', and ''Blonde''. Career In 2009, after changing careers from finance to music, Ellis garnered an internship at EastWest Studios, formerly United/Western Recorders, where artists such as Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys once recorded. When his internship ended, Ellis was asked to join the staff as an assistant musical engineer. In 2012, Ellis became the engineer for recording artist Frank Ocean when he arrived at EastWest Studios to record a track for his debut album, ''Channel Orange''. Ellis developed a working relationship with Ocean and was offered the opportunity to freelance full-time on the remainder of the project. Jesse James Rutherford (born August 21, 1991) is an American singer, songwriter, and former actor. He is the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band the Neighbourhood. Alongside his bandmates, Rutherford wrote the number-one ''Billboard'' Alternative Songs hit "Sweater Weather", which was certified nine-times platinum in the US in 2022. Early life and career beginnings Rutherford was born in Newbury Park, California, on August 21, 1991. ''The Neighbourhood'' is the third studio album by American alternative band The Neighbourhood. It was released on March 9, 2018 by Columbia Records. It was preceded by two EPs: ''Hard'', which was released on September 22, 2017, and ''To Imagine'', released on January 12, 2018. The tracks from the extended plays that were not finally included on the album were compiled in another EP called ''Hard to Imagine''. These tracks were also released in an additional disc on the digital deluxe edition of the album. An edition known as ''Hard to Imagine the Neighbourhood Ever Changing'' was released on November 2, 2018 and included all of the EPs' contents and all but two songs from the original album. The Neighbourhood
The Neighbourhood (sometimes rendered as "THE NBHD") is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011. The band is composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, and bassist Mikey Margot. After releasing two EPs, ''I'm Sorry...'' and ''Thank You'', the Neighbourhood released its first full-length album '' I Love You.'' on April 23, 2013, via Columbia Records. "After the Storm" is a song by American singer Kali Uchis featuring American rapper Tyler, the Creator and fellow American singer Bootsy Collins. Pernille Rosendahl (born 22 March 1972) is a Danish singer, who besides her solo career was lead singer of the Danish band Swan Lee and now is lead vocalist for the Danish rock band The Storm.
