Jeanine Ferris Pirro (born June 2, 1951) is an American television host, author, and a former New York (state), New York State judge, prosecutor, and politician. Pirro was the host of Fox News Channel's ''Justice with Judge Jeanine'' until 2022 when she became a co-host of ''The Five (talk show), The Five''. She was a frequent contributor to NBC News, including regular appearances on ''The Today Show''. She was also the first female judge elected in Westchester County, New York. Pirro was elected the first female district attorney of Westchester County. As district attorney, Pirro gained visibility in cases of domestic abuse and crimes against the elderly. The 2006 United States Senate election in New York was held on November 7, 2006. Incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton won re-election to a second term in office, by a more than two-to-one margin. Clinton was challenged by Republican John Spencer, the former Mayor of Yonkers. Longtime political activist Howie Hawkins of the Green Party also ran a third-party campaign.
