Je'Rod Cherry
Je'Rod LePatrick Cherry (born May 30, 1973) is a former professional football player who currently is a radio talk show host for WKNR AM 850 in Cleveland, and sideline analyst/reporter for the Cleveland Browns radio network. He was previously an American football safety in the National Football League (NFL) who played from 1996 to 2004, winning three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. Biography Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Cherry graduated from Berkeley High School at Berkeley, California in 1991 and was a standout athlete in football and track. Cherry red-shirted his freshman year and played on the California Golden Bears football team from 1992 to 1995. In his senior season, Cherry had 91 tackles and an interception and returned 18 kickoffs for a 21.4 yard average. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. 1996 NFL Draft
The 1996 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 20–21, 1996, at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. On draft day, the St. Louis Rams traded running back Jerome Bettis and a third-round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a second round pick for that year, as well as a fourth round pick the following year. The trade was made immediately after the Rams drafted Nebraska running back Lawrence Phillips. The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or (officially) the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment. Each team is given a position in the drafting order in reverse order relative to its record in the previous year, which means that the last place team is positioned first and the Super Bowl champion is last. Grading in education is the process of applying standardized measurements for varying levels of achievements in a course.
