Jamie Harris (born 15 May 1963) is a British actor. He is best known for his role as The Hook-Handed Man in ''Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events'', Rodney in ''Rise of the Planet of the Apes'' and Gordon in Marvel's ''Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''. Early life Harris was born on 15 May 1963 in Whitechapel, London as Tudor St. John Harris and is the third and youngest of three boys to Irish actor Richard Harris and Welsh socialite Elizabeth Rees-Williams. Whitechapel
Whitechapel is a district in East London and the future administrative centre of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a part of the East End of London, east of Charing Cross. Part of the historic county of Middlesex, the area formed a civil and ecclesiastical parish after splitting from the ancient parish of Stepney in the 14th century. It became part of the County of London in 1889 and Greater London in 1965. Because the area is close to the London Docklands and east of the City of London, it has been a popular place for immigrants and the working class. The area was the centre of the London Jewish community in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Shepton Mallet
Shepton Mallet is a market town and civil parish in the Mendip District of Somerset, England, some south-west of Bath, south of Bristol and east of Wells. It had an estimated population of 10,810 in 2019. Mendip District Council is based there. The Mendip Hills lie to the north and the River Sheppey runs through the town, as does the route of the Fosse Way, the main Roman road between north-east and south-west England. There is evidence of Roman settlement. Its listed buildings include a medieval parish church. Shepton Mallet Prison was England's oldest, but closed in March 2013. The medieval wool trade gave way to trades such as brewing in the 18th century. It remains noted for cider production.
