Justin Yeo
Justin Yeo is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for North Sydney and Balmain in the National Rugby League competition. Yeo is noted for his support of local community events including the Gulgong 7s. Background Yeo was born in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. His son, Isaah Yeo, plays for the Penrith Panthers. Playing career Yeo made his first grade debut for North Sydney in Round 12 in 1998 against Cronulla at Shark Park. In 1999, he joined Balmain and made his debut for the club in the Round 1 game which, coincidentally, was also against Cronulla. Balmain lost the match 44–0. The Western Suburbs Magpies (legal name: Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club Ltd) is an Australian rugby league football club based in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. Formed in 1908, Wests, as the club is commonly referred to, was one of the nine foundation clubs of the first New South Wales Rugby League competition in Australia. The club, as a sole entity, departed the top-flight competition in 1999 after forming a 50–50 joint venture with Balmain Tigers to form the Wests Tigers. The Country Rugby League of New South Wales (CRL), formed in 1934 and disbanded in 2019, was the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in areas of New South Wales outside the Sydney, Sydney metropolitan area until it merged with New South Wales Rugby League, NSW Rugby League in 2019. The CRL was superseded by 6 NSWRL Country Divisions represented by 4 members of the nine-person NSWRL board. Despite its name, the CRL also governed rugby league in the Australian Capital Territory. Group 11 was a rugby league competition in the surrounding areas of Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. The competition is played in four grades, these being First-Grade, Reserve-Grade, Under 19s and Ladies League Tag. Ahead of the 2022 season, the Group 10 and Group 11 competitions merged to form the Western Premiership. Current clubs All four grades of Group 11 Clubs play in the Peter McDonald Premiership alongside Group 10 clubs from the 2023 season. Endeavour Field, known colloquially as Shark Park or Sharks Stadium, is a rugby league stadium in the southern Sydney suburb of Woolooware, New South Wales, Australia.
