Jon Klette
Jon Klette (9 May 1962 – 31 July 2016) was a Norwegian jazz musician, alto saxophone player, composer and record producer. Biography Klette was born on 9 May 1962. With his group ''Jazzmob'' Klette released the albums ''The Truth'' in 1999, and ''Pathfinder'' in 2003. He established the record company Jazzaway Records in 2003. He started the band ''Crimetime Orchestra'', where he played with other musicians such as Paal Nilssen-Love, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Vidar Johansen, Bugge Wesseltoft, Per Zanussi, Sjur Miljeteig and Kjetil Møster, and their albums include ''Life Is a Beautiful Monster'' (2004), ''Atomic Symphony'' (2009). Oslo
Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of 1,064,235 in 2022, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age, the area was part of Viken. Oslo was founded as a city at the end of the Viking Age in 1040 under the name Ánslo, and established as a ''kaupstad'' or trading place in 1048 by Harald Hardrada. Kjetil Møster
Kjetil Traavik Møster (born 17 June 1976) is a Norwegian jazz musician ( tenor and soprano saxophones, clarinet and bass clarinet) and composer, known from bands like The Core, Ultralyd, Brat, Zanussi 5, and performance with Chick Corea at Moldejazz 2000, later released on CD. He has also made his mark with experimental performances at the interface between electronic based fri-rock and jazz. Career Møster was born in Bergen and has played the accordion since he was six years old; he learned the cornet, bass and saxophone in subsequent years, and played the guitar in the rock band "Riper i lakken" since 13. From 1995 to 1996, Møster studied at ''Sund folkehøgskole'' where he wrote a song called "Eg veit ka du gjorde med Åshild" (''"I know what you did with Åshild"'') for the album made by the current class of ''Sund''. Alto Saxophone
The alto saxophone is a member of the saxophone family of woodwind instruments. Saxophones were invented by Belgians, Belgian instrument designer Adolphe Sax in the 1840s and patented in 1846. The alto saxophone is pitched in the key of E♭ (musical note), E, smaller than the B♭ (musical note), B Tenor saxophone, tenor but larger than the B Soprano saxophone, soprano. Sjur Miljeteig
Sjur Miljeteig (born 4 January 1974) is a Norwegian jazz musician (trumpet), composer and author, married 20 October 2007 to the actress Ane Dahl Torp (1975), and they live in Oslo with their two children, a boy (2010) and a girl (2012). He is known for his performances of the music of Miles Davis in a band including Håvard Wiik, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten and Peder Kjellsby. Career Miljeteig attended the music program at Foss videregående skole (1990) earning his Examen artium in 1993. He has evolved to be one of the finest Norwegian trumpeters, and has been in the line-up on more than 50 Norwegian record releases. He released the album ''Fra Mirakelarkivet'' (1997) with cooperate lyricist Markus Midré, and has operated steadily in tandem with drummer and handyman Peder Kjellsby. Per Zanussi (born 1977) is an Italian–Norwegian jazz musician (upright bass) and composer, known from several bands and releases such as with Hamid Drake, Louis Moholo, Paal Nilssen-Love, Bobby Bradford, Sabir Mateen, Franklin Kiermyer, Stephen O'Malley, Axel Dörner, Petter Wettre, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Bugge Wesseltoft, Mats Gustafsson, Kjetil Møster, Kevin Norton, Ivar Grydeland, Ernesto Rodrigues, Tetuzi Akiyama, and Håvard Wiik. Career Zanussi was born in Oslo and was educated on the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium and at Norges Musikkhøgskole.
