Jackie Flowers
Jackie Flowers (born March 4, 1958) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a wide receiver in the United States Football League (USFL) for the Arizona Wranglers, Chicago Blitz, Pittsburgh Maulers (1984), Pittsburgh Maulers and Orlando Renegades. He also played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles football, Florida State Seminoles. Early life Flowers was a standout wide receiver at William M. Raines High School, graduating in 1976. He accepted a football scholarship from Florida State University where he was a four-year letterman. In 1978, he made 43 catches for 757 yards (led the team) and 7 touchdowns, earning honorable-mention All-American honors. John Flowers (5 October 1882 – 8 May 1968) was an English cricketer. Flowers' batting and bowling styles are unknown. He was born at Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex. Flowers made two first-class appearances for Sussex against Somerset and Gloucestershire in the 1905 County Championship. Against Somerset at the Recreation Ground, Bath, Sussex won the toss and elected to bat first, making 141 in their first-innings, during which Flowers was dismissed for 3 runs by Percy Hardy. Somerset made 289 in their first-innings, during which Flowers bowled nine wicketless overs, conceding 59 runs. Due to poor weather, neither side managed a second-innings, with the match ending in a draw. John Flowers (footballer)
John Edward Flowers (born 26 August 1944) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder for Stoke City, Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale, and Eastwood in the 1960s and 1970s. He scored four goals in 206 league games in a nine-year career in the Football League, with the bulk of these appearances coming at Doncaster, where he won the Fourth Division title in 1968–69. He is the younger brother of Ron Flowers, and the nephew of George Flowers. Career Flowers was born in Edlington into a sporting family, and he followed in their footsteps, joining Stoke City in 1963. He spent most of his time at the Victoria Ground in the reserves, and after making just nine first-team appearances in three seasons, he was sold to Third Division Doncaster Rovers for £10,000. John Frederick Flowers (14 January 1954 – 12 April 2024) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Rockdale for the Liberal Party from 2011 to 2015. Early years and background Flowers was a teacher at Belmore Boys' High School for over 20 years. He served as a Councillor on Kogarah Council between 1999 until 2004, and then Rockdale Council since 2004, where he served as Deputy Mayor and then Mayor. John Flowers (born June 13, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Club Atlético Peñarol of the Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol.
