Jeremy Kyle
Jeremy Neil Kyle (born 7 July 1965) is an English broadcaster and writer. He is known for hosting the tabloid talk show '' The Jeremy Kyle Show'' on ITV from 2005 to 2019. He also hosted an American version of his eponymous show, which ran for two seasons beginning in 2011. Since 2022, Kyle has been a presenter for Talk. Early life Kyle was born in Reading, Berkshire, and is of Scottish descent. His father was an accountant and personal secretary to the Queen Mother for 40 years. Kyle has said that his older brother, Nick, has experienced drug addiction. He attended the Reading Blue Coat School, a boys' private school in Sonning, Berkshire. ''The Jeremy Kyle Show'' is an American first-run syndicated talk show that was hosted by Jeremy Kyle. The show ran for two seasons from September 19, 2011, to May 21, 2013, in which it broadcast over 300 episodes. It was based on the British talk show of the same name, which was also hosted by Kyle. The series was taped in New York. The program was a co-production of ITV Studios' U.S. subsidiary, ITV Studios America and Debmar-Mercury, which served as distributor for the American version while ITV kept all international rights. Synopsis As with the British version, the series used a confrontational style, which saw guests attempt to resolve interpersonal relationship issues, such as family, relationship, sex, drug, alcohol and other issues. Century Radio was the brand name of a group of Independent Local Radio stations in England. The brand was developed with the launch of 100-102 Century Radio in North East England in 1994, with John Myers as managing director and John Simons as programme director. The brand grew when Myers launched 106 Century FM for the East Midlands, and further when 105.4 Century Radio was launched in North West England in 1998. Ocean FM used the Century format, but not the brand. The group was initially owned by Border Radio Holdings until 2000, when Capital Radio Group took over the brand. BRMB is a British radio station based in Aston, Birmingham, which is owned and operated by Murfin Music International. Heart Kent (previously Invicta FM) was an Independent Local Radio station owned and operated by Global Radio as part of the Heart network. It broadcast to Kent from studios at John Wilson Business Park in Whitstable. History Invicta in the 80s Originally, independent local radio in Kent was to be provided by two franchisees, one covering Maidstone and Medway, and the other covering East Kent.
