Jason Hughes (born 18 December 1971, Porthcawl) is a Welsh actor best known for playing Sergeant Ben Jones in the ITV series, ''Midsomer Murders'' (2005-2013) and for the BBC drama, '' This Life'' (1996-1997) in which he played lawyer Warren Jones. Jason Hughes (auto Racing)
Jason Hughes (born 27 July 1969) is the owner-driver of the Kartworld Racing (also known as KWR) auto racing team, which has competed in the British Touring Car Championship from 2003 to 2008. In 1999 Hughes was BRSCC Fiesta Champion, and first entered the BTCC with a Nissan Primera in the Production Class. Moving up into the main Touring Class for 2004 he raced in an MG ZS, finishing 17th. He did a partial season in 2005 (scoring enough points to come 13th overall in a smaller field), but returned to running the full schedule in 2006. For the second half of the season Hughes converted his MG to run on bioethanol instead of regular petrol, joining Fiona Leggate in using the alternative fuel. On 3 September 2006 Hughes took his best ever result of 4th, at Knockhill in Scotland. Hughes continued to drive his bio-ethanol powered MG in 2007, with Leggate in a second car. Jason Wynne Hughes is an American politician. He is a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from the 100th District, serving since 2019. He is a member of the Democratic party. Education and career Hughes graduated from McDonogh #35 Senior High School. Hughes then attended Southern University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science. Hughes was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity on campus. Before becoming a politician himself, Hughes worked as a political strategist in Louisiana politics. Hughes has served as the assistant legislative director to former Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, the regional manager for former US Senator Mary Landrieu, and the Director of Federal Relations for the city of New Orleans. Jason Jones-Hughes
Jason Jones-Hughes (born 13 September 1976 in Sydney) is an Australian born rugby union player who played for the Wales national rugby union team. The fact that he represented Wales caused friction between the two national rugby unions as he had played for the Australian Barbarians and was part of the Australian team that toured Argentina in 1997 before representing Wales. The International Rugby Board ruled he was eligible to play for Wales as he had not played a full international match for Australia national rugby union team and he had a Welsh qualification through his parents. In 2000 he was initially implicated in the "grannygate" scandal before being exonerated. A centre, he played his club rugby for Newport and was part of the 1999 Wales World Cup Squad hosted by Wales.
