Internacional de Toronto C.F. was a short-lived Canadian soccer club founded and dissolved in 2014 and based in Toronto, Ontario. The club played in League1 Ontario, part of the third division of the Canadian soccer league system. The club played its home games out of Lamport Stadium and was coached by former Peru national team player, Nolberto Solano. The club's colours were orange and blue. History Internacional de Toronto was announced as one of the founding members of the newly formed League1 Ontario on April 8, 2014. Former Peru national team player Nolberto Solano was named as the team's head coach on May 1, 2014. Internacional played its first match against Windsor Stars during the league's opening weekend on May 31, 2014, at The Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario, a 2–2 draw. Allan A. Lamport Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium on King Street West in the Liberty Village neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the practice facility for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. It is also partial home for Canada national rugby league team. Blackburn Radio, Inc. is a Canadian radio broadcasting group, which owns several radio stations in Southwestern Ontario. Headquartered in London, Ontario, the company is owned by 2061302 Ontario Limited, which is majority owned by Cogent Investments. The three Chatham stations were previously owned by Webster and Bea-Ver Communications, which was acquired by Blackburn Radio in April 2005. Victor Gallo (born December 8, 1991) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for Scrosoppi FC in League1 Ontario. Playing career Gallo began his career in 2009 with the North York Astros of the Canadian Soccer League. Raheem Nathaniel Anfernee Edwards (born July 17, 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a left winger or wing-back for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer. The 2014 League1 Ontario season was the inaugural season of the Division 3 Ontario-based semi-professional Association football, soccer league. It began on May 30, featuring 10 teams. The league's first ever goal was scored by Toronto FC Academy player Dylan Sacramento. Teams Being the first year of the league, all teams are new to the league.
