McDonough, Georgia
McDonough is a city in Henry County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Its population was 22,084 at the 2010 census, up from 8,493 in 2000. The city is the county seat of Henry County. The unincorporated communities of Blacksville, Flippen, Kelleytown, and Ola are located near McDonough, and addresses in those communities have McDonough ZIP Codes. History The town was named for naval officer Commodore Thomas Macdonough and founded in 1823 around a traditional town square design. The buildings surrounding the square are intact, although there are some vacancies. The county courthouse and historic jail building are on the north side near the Welcome Center in a historically maintained Standard Oil service station, built in 1920. The station also houses the Main Street Program Office and Hospitality and Tourism Office. Eagle's Landing High School

Patrick Henry High School (Stockbridge, Georgia)
Patrick Henry High School (PHHS) was located at 109 South Lee Street in Stockbridge, Georgia, United States. It was the alternative high school for the Henry County School System. It was closed after the 2015 school year after the Board of Education made the decision to move the alternative school to a different location in the county. The building is still being used today as a rental space for the filming industry and an adjacent building is used for professional development meetings. The building was the original Stockbridge High School. Patrick Henry High School relocated to the old McDonough Elementary School in McDonough and was renamed Excel Academy. Union Grove High School
Union Grove High School is a public institution within the Henry County School System in McDonough, Georgia, United States. It hosts students from ninth through twelfth grades. Current enrollment hovers around 1,532 students. The school sends its brightest students to the Georgia Governor's Honors Program through a strenuous application and interview process, which welcomes top students from around the state for six weeks of academic enrichment at Berry College. Locust Grove is a city in Henry County, Georgia, United States. The population was 5,402 at the 2010 census, up from 2,322 in 2000. Some unincorporated communities such as Luella and many rural areas surround Locust Grove, and those communities have Locust Grove postal addresses.
