Iftikhar Ahmed (Urdu & ps, افتخار احمد; born 3 September 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is in playing-eleven in T20 format of Pakistan National Cricket Team. In Pakistan Super League, he has previously played for Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and now is in Quetta Gladiators. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November 2015. He was born in Peshawar, Pakistan into a Pashtun family. Domestic career He was the leading run-scorer for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with 735 runs in eleven matches. On 27 January 2017, he made 131 not out and took 3 wickets for 12 runs in the final of the 2016–17 Regional One Day Cup. He was jointly named man of the match along with Gauhar Ali. Balochistan cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Balochistan province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Balochistan Cricket Association. History Before 2019 The Balochistan team was founded in 1954 and played its inaugural season in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 1954. In 1954-55 Balochistan played one match in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, losing to Sind by 53 runs at the Racecourse Ground, Quetta. 2018 Pakistan Cup
The 2018 Pakistan Cup was the third edition of the Pakistan Cup, a List A cricket competition which was contested between five teams. It was held from 25 April to 6 May 2018, with all the matches played at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Federal Areas were the defending champions. Federal Areas were the first team to advance to the final, after they beat Punjab by 7 wickets. They were joined in the final with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the last group stage match, between Punjab and Sindh, finished as a tie. Sindh cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Sindh province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Sindh Cricket Association. Gauhar Ali (born 5 May 1989) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Peshawar. 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
The 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was the 60th edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan's domestic first-class cricket competition. It was contested by 16 teams representing eight regional associations and eight departments, and took place from 26 September to 25 December 2017, spanning almost two weeks less than originally planned. Pakistan's former Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq was critical of the compressed schedule and the quality of the pitches saying "it takes time to prepare a good pitch for a game and nobody can make it in two days". The format of the competition remained the same as the previous season, with two round-robin group stages and a final. The cricket team of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited was a first-class cricket side that played in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Patron's Trophy and Pentangular Trophy and also competed in Limited overs cricket. In May 2019, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan revamped the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan, excluding departmental teams in favour of regional sides, therefore ending the participation of the team.
