''I Wish You Love'' is Gloria Gaynor's seventeenth album and her first international release in 18 years. It is a return to her roots in Club/Dance music, along with Urban contemporary and Contemporary R&B. Gloria Gaynor (née Fowles; born September 7, 1943) is an American singer, best known for the disco era hits " I Will Survive" (1978), " Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (1979), " I Am What I Am" (1983), and her version of " Never Can Say Goodbye" (1974). Early life Gaynor was born Gloria Fowles in Newark, New Jersey, to Daniel Fowles and Queenie Mae Proctor. Her grandmother lived nearby and was involved in her upbringing. "There was always music in our house", Gaynor wrote in her autobiography ''I Will Survive''. She enjoyed listening to the radio, and to records by Nat King Cole and Sarah Vaughan. Dino George Fekaris (born January 24, 1945, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States) is a Greek-American music producer and songwriter. Fekaris was the producer and co-writer (with Freddie Perren) of the song "I Will Survive", and other songs sung by Gloria Gaynor. He has been nominated five times for the Grammy Award, winning once in 1979 for "I Will Survive". Biography Dino attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. He joined Motown at the tail end of the 1960s as a producer and writer, initially linking with Nick Zesses and working with the likes of The Naturals. "I Will Survive" is a song by American singer Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978 as the second single from her sixth album, '' Love Tracks'' (1978). It was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris. A top-selling song, it is a popular disco anthem, as well as being certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song's lyrics describe the narrator's discovery of personal strength following an initially devastating breakup. Timothy John Hegarty, better known as Tim Hegarty (born 7 November 1965 in Derry, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish musician and songwriter.
