''Into the Skyline'' is the second studio album by English dance artist Cathy Dennis, released in September 1992 in North America, and January 1993 in the UK. Written with an aim toward the US market, the album features the singles "You Lied to Me", " Irresistible", "Moments of Love", "Falling", and "Why" – the latter was credited to D Mob with Cathy Dennis. The album peaked at number 8 in the UK Albums Chart, whilst on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, " You Lied to Me" was a Top 40 hit, and "Irresistible" made the Adult Contemporary top ten; however, the album descended the chart rapidly. Dennis experienced a brief peak of fame, making a cameo in ''Beverly Hills, 90210'' singing the song "Moments of Love" (a minor US Adult Contemporary chart hit), "Why" (in the episode, without D Mob) and "Touch Me (All Night Long)", a single from her previous album, '' Move to This''. She was the vocalist for D Mob, which had the successful hit single "C'mon and Get My Love". After a successful international solo career, Dennis later achieved great success as a writer of pop songs, scoring eight UK number ones and winning six Ivor Novello Awards. "Too Many Walls" is a song by British singer-songwriter Cathy Dennis. "Too Many Walls" is a midtempo pop ballad and was co-written by Dennis and Anne Dudley, member of the avant-garde synthpop musical group Art of Noise. The song was originally a composition of Dudley's with strings but no lyrics, until Dennis adapted the song and added words before it appeared on her debut album. The song was then remixed into a more radio-friendly version before being released as a single on 23 September 1991 in the United Kingdom. Anne Dudley
Anne Jennifer Dudley (née Beckingham; born 7 May 1956) is an English composer, keyboardist, conductor and pop musician. She was the first BBC Concert Orchestra's Composer in Association in 2001. She has worked in the classical and pop genres, as a film composer, and was one of the core members of the Synth-pop band Art of Noise. In 1998, Dudley won an Oscar for Best Original Musical or Comedy Score for '' The Full Monty''. In 1990–1991 it was remixed and included on Dennis' first album, '' Move to This'' (1990), and re-released as a single, becoming a top 10 hit in the US. The song was co-written by Dancin' Danny D (real name Daniel Kojo Poku), a.k.a. D Mob, who also produced the track and sang backing vocals. Poku's vocals are often mistaken for Rick Astley.
