The Instituto Libre de Segunda Enseñanza , also known for its acronym ILSE , is a semi-private high school depending on the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). With an approximate 1000 students population , it is located in the San Nicolás neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As part of its affiliation with the UBA, its students are required to meet certain academic standards to join the school. Students willing to enroll have to undergo an admission process and pass for their application to be approved. Adolfo Bioy Casares (; 15 September 1914 – 8 March 1999) was an Argentine fiction writer, journalist, diarist, and translator. Fernando Javier Sendra (born 1949 in Mar del Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine cartoonist. He is mostly known as the creator of the newspaper comic series '' Yo, Matías'' ("Me, Matías"). He is the author of over 20 books, including 10 of the ''Yo, Matías'' series. He has two sons and two daughters. He began his career as a cartoonist in 1973 working for '' Siete Días''. Oliverio Girondo
Oliverio Girondo (August 17, 1891 – January 24, 1967) was an Argentine poet. He was born in Buenos Aires to a relatively wealthy family, enabling him from a young age to travel to Europe, where he studied in both Paris and England. During the 1920s, he was involved with the avant-garde journal Martín Fierro, which ushered in the arrival of ultraism, the first of the vanguardist movements to settle in Argentina. His first poems, full of color and irony, surpass the simple admiration of beauty in nature which was then a common theme, opting instead for a fuller and more interesting topic: a sort of celebration of living cosmopolitan and urbane, both praising such a lifestyle and criticizing some of the customs of its society. Enrique Telémaco Susini (January 31, 1891 – July 4, 1972) was an Argentine entrepreneur and media pioneer. In 1920, Susini led the effort for the first radio broadcast in Argentina, and subsequently established one of the earliest regular radio stations in the world. Amancio Williams (19 February 1913 – 14 October 1989) was an Argentine architect. He is among his country's leading exponents of modern architecture. Life and work Amancio Williams was born in Buenos Aires in 1913. His father, Alberto Williams, was a well-known composer of chamber music and the founder of the Buenos Aires Music Conservatory.
