''Immersion'' is the third studio album by Australian band Pendulum. The album was announced in early 2009, with the name being confirmed in December 2009.Pendulum announce live tour

The album was released on 21 May 2010 in Australia and Ireland, and on 24 May for the rest of the world, followed by a UK tour of the album. In January 2010, Pendulum hosted the album preview Ear Storm event at in London in which many top DJs performed sets of their own with Pendulum being the headliners.

Pendulum is an Australian electronic rock band founded in 2002. Pendulum originally formed in the city of Perth, Western Australia, by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul "El Hornet" Harding. The band was later expanded to include members Ben Mount, Peredur ap Gwynedd and KJ Sawka. The group is notable for its distinctive sound, mixing electronic music with hard rock and covering a wide range of genres. Their debut studio album, ''Hold Your Colour'', was released in 2005 to positive critical reception. While ''Hold Your Colour'' was mostly of the drum and bass genre, the succeeding albums ''In Silico (Pendulum album), In Silico'' and ''Immersion (album), Immersion'' saw experimentation of other genres such as industrial rock and electronic rock. In 2012, the band went on hiatus as Swire and McGrillen concentrated on their side-project Knife Party. In 2015, the band reformed and released the remix album ''The Reworks'' in 2018. Björn Gelotte
Björn Gelotte (born 27 August 1975) is a Swedish guitarist and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for melodic death metal band In Flames. He originally joined the band as the drummer in 1995, and continued in this position during '' The Jester Race'' (1996) and '' Whoracle'' (1997). He switched to his current position on guitar after Niclas Engelin left the band and has played solely guitars since ''Colony'' (1999), sharing lead/rhythm guitar duties with former In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad. In Flames is a Swedish Heavy metal music, heavy metal band, formed by guitarist Jesper Strömblad in Gothenburg in 1990 out of the Swedish death metal, Swedish death metal scene.
