It began serialization as a web novel published on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in August 2018. It was later acquired by Overlap who began publishing it under their Overlap Bunko light novel imprint in July 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Kai Nadashima began serialization on Overlap's ''Comic Gardo'' manga website in May 2021.
