Manchester Orchestra
Manchester Orchestra is an American indie rock band from Atlanta formed in 2004. The group is composed of rhythm guitarist-singer-songwriter Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince and drummer Tim Very. Former drummer Jeremiah Edmond parted ways with the band in January 2010 to focus on his family and on running the band's record label, Favorite Gentlemen. The band's original bassist, Jonathan Corley, parted ways with the band in 2013. Keyboardist/percussionist Chris Freeman announced his departure from the band in September 2016. ''You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm, but Brilliance Needs a Good Editor'' is the second extended play (EP) by American rock music, rock band Manchester Orchestra, released through Favorite Gentlemen Recordings in 2005. Favorite Gentlemen made the EP available for purchase through the band's merchandising website. On March 26, 2016, a partial image of a vinyl pressing of the EP was posted on lead singer & principle songwriter Andy Hull's Instagram. This vinyl pressing was not made available for purchase until November 23, 2016 (the night of Manchester Orchestra's seventh-annual Thanksgiving-eve concert at the Center Stage Music Complex in Atlanta, GA). ''AbsolutePunk'' was a website, online community, and alternative music news source founded by Jason Tate (the most recent CEO). Andy Hull
John Andrew Hull (born November 7, 1986) is an American singer, musician and songwriter. He serves as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter of the indie rock band Manchester Orchestra. He also has a side project, Right Away, Great Captain!, as well as being co-founder of a side project with his friend and folk musician Kevin Devine by the name of Bad Books. Hull is also co-president of Manchester Orchestra's label, Favorite Gentlemen. Early life Hull was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
