Hello Again (1987 Film)
''Hello Again'' is a 1987 American romantic fantasy-comedy film directed and produced by Frank Perry, written by Susan Isaacs and starring Shelley Long, Judith Ivey, Gabriel Byrne, Corbin Bernsen, Sela Ward, Austin Pendleton, Carrie Nye, Robert Lewis, Madeleine Potter, Thor Fields and Illeana Douglas. Plot Long Island housewife Lucy Chadman is in the midst of a tarot card reading by her occult sister, Zelda. Just as Zelda exclaims something is going to happen, Lucy begins to choke to death on a South Korean chicken ball. The film shows the difficulty of Lucy's loved ones, including Zelda, had in coping with her death. But the grief turns to excitement when Zelda receives a book of spells called ''The Wisdom of Catagonia''. Frank Perry
Frank Joseph Perry Jr. (August 21, 1930 – August 29, 1995) was an American stage director and filmmaker. His 1962 independent film '' David and Lisa'' earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay (written by his then-wife Eleanor Perry). The couple collaborated on five more films, including '' The Swimmer'', '' Diary of a Mad Housewife'', and the Emmy Award–nominated ''A Christmas Memory'', based on a short story by Truman Capote. Perry went on to form Corsair Pictures, privately financed by United Artists Theatres, which produced ''Miss Firecracker'' and '' A Shock to the System'', then folded. His later films include '' Mommie Dearest'' and the documentary ''On the Bridge'', about his battle with prostate cancer. Thor Fields (born September 19, 1968) is an American actor and guitarist. Career Fields began his career in television commercials and made his Broadway debut in ''The King and I'' in 1978. This was the first revival starring Yul Brynner and Constance Towers. Fields was understudy for the role of Louis (the teacher's son) and also swing for the Royal Children. Fields was also in the Turgenev play '' A Month in the Country'' (Roundabout Theater Company) starring Tammy Grimes, Farley Granger and Amanda Plummer. In 1980, Fields was cast as Tom of Warwick in the 20th Anniversary revival production of ''Camelot'' starring Richard Burton, Christine Ebersole and Richard Muenz. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
