Hackescher Markt Railway Station
Berlin Hackescher Markt is a railway station in the Mitte district of Berlin, Germany. It is named after the adjacent ''Hackescher Markt'' square. Overview The station is located on the elevated Berlin Stadtbahn line, which crosses central Berlin from east to west. The Stadtbahn carries local S-Bahn services on one pair of tracks, and longer distance services on another pair. Hackescher Markt station is served by S-Bahn lines , , and . Longer distance services pass the station without stopping. The station opened in 1882 and was originally named ''Börse'' (stock exchange) and then ''Marx-Engels-Platz'' during the GDR era. In 1992 it received the name ''Hackescher Markt'' from the adjacent square. Following the demolition of the Lehrter Stadtbahnhof (architecturally similar and previously listed), with Bellevue it is now one of only two Stadtbahn stations preserved in their original condition. Potsdam Central Station
Potsdam Hauptbahnhof is the main station in the German city of Potsdam, capital of the state of Brandenburg. It lies on the Berlin–Magdeburg railway and was founded in 1838. However, it has had this name only since 1999. It was originally called ''Bahnhof Potsdam'' (Potsdam station) and it was called ''Potsdam Stadt'' (city) station from 1960. Berlin Westkreuz (literally "Berlin West Cross") is a station in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S3, S41, S42, S46, S5, S7 and S9 and so represents a major interchange point on the Berlin S-Bahn network. Berlin Zoologischer Garten station (german: Bahnhof Berlin Zoologischer Garten, colloquially Bahnhof Zoo, ) is a railway station in Berlin, Germany. Berlin-Schöneweide Station
Berlin-Schöneweide is a railway station in Niederschöneweide, part of the Treptow-Köpenick borough of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn and regional trains, buses and trams. It was a terminal for long-distance trains until 2011. History The station was opened as a halt in the outskirts of the ''Landgemeinde'' (rural municipality) of Niederschöneweide on 24 May 1868 on the Berlin–Görlitz railway. Ahrensfelde station is a station serving regional and S-Bahn services in the Berlin borough of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. It is located on the border of Berlin just outside the municipality of Ahrensfelde, which is in the state of Brandenburg.
