H1504+65 is an enigmatic peculiar star in the constellation Ursa Minor. With a surface temperature of 200,000 K (360,000°F) and an atmosphere composed of carbon, oxygen and 2% neon, it is the second hottest white dwarf ever discovered. H-15 (Michigan County Highway)
The county-designated highways in Michigan comprise a system of primary county roads across the US state of Michigan. Unlike the Michigan State Trunkline Highway System, State Trunkline Highway System, these highways have alphanumeric designations with letters that correspond to one of eight lettered zones in the state. The County-Designated Highway System (CDH System) was created in 1970 in response to the business concerns of a woman from Saugatuck, Michigan, Saugatuck. Her one-woman crusade in the 1960s started after the highway in front of her motel was turned over to local control as a county road and removed from state highway maps when the nearby freeway opened. After nearly a decade of efforts, the first two test highways were designated, one each in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, Lower and Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Upper peninsulas of the state and included on the 1970 state highway map. This article gives an overview of the heath communities in the British National Vegetation Classification system. Introduction The heath communities of the NVC were described, along with the mire communities, in Volume 2 of '' British Plant Communities'', first published in 1991. In total, 22 heath communities have been identified. LSWR H15 Class
The LSWR/SR H15 class was a class of 2-cylinder 4-6-0 steam locomotives designed by Robert Urie for mixed-traffic duties on the LSWR. Further batches were constructed by Richard Maunsell for the SR. They were given the nickname of "Junior King Arthur" due to the size of their driving wheels, the S15 and their N15 cousins had driving wheels which had a diameter of 5 foot and 7 inches and 6 foot and 7 inches respectively. Construction history The H15 class represented Robert Urie's first design for the LSWR. It was created in response to a desperate lack of adequate locomotives in service on the LSWR that could be utilised for heavy freight duties. Reliability was also an issue, with ageing locomotive designs taking their toll on the LSWR's resources.
