Hero Of The Kyrgyz Republic
The title Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic ( Kyrgyz: ) is a state award of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was established on 16 April 1996 by the law "On the establishment of state awards of the Kyrgyz Republic". As of June 2014, 23 people have been awarded the title. Ak-Shumkar Medal Once the title is conferred upon a person, they are presented with the Ak Shumkar () Medal and the corresponding certificate. It is worn on the left side of the chest above other orders and medals. The medal is made of gold and is a symmetrical star consisting of eight upper-level beams forming a circle with a diameter of 40 millimeters. The block is presented in the form of a tumar (an ancient Kyrgyz talisman), where a relief drawing of a tynduk is placed on a red field. Asankhan Dzhumakhmatov
Asankhan Dzhumakhmatov (16 June 192321 June 2008) was a Soviet and Kyrgyzstani composer and conductor of the Soviet era, born in Arashan. A member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1944, he was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1976. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1958, and held various posts in the Kirghiz SSR. He also received the Toktogul State Prize of the Kirghiz SSR in 1972. Iskhak Razzak uulu Razzakov ( – 19 March 1979) was a Kyrgyz Soviet politician who served as First Secretary of Communist Party of Kirghizia from 7 July 1950 to 9 May 1961. Early life Razzakov was born in the village of , in what was then the colony of Russian Turkestan, (now Lenin, in Kyrgyzstan's Batken Region) on 25 October 1910. Kuluypa Konduchalova (; 15 June 1920 – 7 September 2013) was a Kyrgyz-Soviet teacher, politician and cultural minister. Tölögön Kasymbek () (also, Kasymbekov, also transliterated from Russian as Tolegen Kassymbekov) (15 January 1931 – 16 June 2011) was a Kyrgyz author who mostly wrote historical novels. Sabira Kumushaliyeva () (March 19, 1917 – September 15, 2007) was a Kyrgyzstani actress of the Soviet era. Biography Kumushaliyeva was born in the village of Tokoldosh, which is today part of the city of Bishkek. She was one of a group of actresses known as the "Four Daughters of Tököldösh"; the other three were Darkul Kuyukova, Baken Kydykeyeva, and Saira Kiyizbaeva. She first acted at the age of 14. During the 1930s she worked as a teacher; around 1934 she began her stage career. She interrupted it during World War II to support the war effort, but resumed acting afterwards. Absamat Masaliyevich Masaliyev (; 10 April 1933 – 31 July 2004) was the first Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kirghizia from November 1985 until Kyrgyz independence, and led the Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan afterwards.
