Hamish Donald Blake (born 11 December 1981) is an Australian comedian, television and radio presenter, actor and author. Since 2003, he has worked with Andy Lee as part of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy. The pair have performed live and on television and radio, most notably with their drive-time radio program '' Hamish & Andy''. Hamish Henderson
(James) Hamish Scott Henderson (11 November 1919 – 9 March 2002) was a Scotland, Scottish poet, songwriter, communist, intellectual and soldier. Henderson was a catalyst for the folk revival in Scotland. He was also an accomplished folk song collector and discovered such notable performers as Jeannie Robertson, Flora MacNeil and Calum Johnston. Early life He was born in Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie, Perthshire on the first Armistice Day 11 November 1919, to a single mother, Janet Henderson, a Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland, Queen's Nurse who had served in France, and was then working in the war hospital at Blair Castle. Hamish Bryon Bond (born 13 February 1986) is a retired New Zealand rower and former road cyclist. He is a three-time Olympic gold medallist at the 2012 London Olympic Games, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, and at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He won six consecutive World Rowing Championships gold medals in the coxless pair and set the current world best times in both the coxless and coxed pair. He made a successful transition from rowing to road cycling after the 2016 Summer Olympics, focussing on the road time trial and winning a medal at the Commonwealth Games. George Hamish Livingston Harding (24 June 1964 – 18 June 2023) was a British businessman, pilot and adventurer based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He was the founder of Action Group and was chairman of Action Aviation, an international aircraft brokerage company with headquarters in Dubai. A member of The Explorers Club, he visited the South Pole several times, descended to the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench, travelled into space, and held three Guinness World Records. Hamish Kilgour (17 March 1957 – November or December 2022) was a New Zealand musician who co-founded the indie rock band the Clean with his brother David in 1978. Kilgour also co-founded the band Bailter Space in 1987 as well as the band the Mad Scene in the 1990s. He later recorded as a solo artist. Career Kilgour was born in Christchurch on 17 March 1957. After the Clean temporarily split up in the early 80s, Kilgour co-founded the Christchurch space rock band Bailter Space in 1987, and recorded the '' Nelsh Bailter Space'' EP and ''Tanker'' album with the band. Hamish Kyle Bennett (born 22 February 1987) is a New Zealand former international cricketer who played for the New Zealand national cricket team. He played for Wellington in New Zealand domestic competitions. Earlier in his career he represented New Zealand in the 2006 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. Hamish Kerr
Hamish Kerr (born 17 August 1996) is a New Zealand high jumper. He won the gold medal in the men's high jump at the 2024 Summer Olympics. At the World Indoor Championships he won gold in 2024 having previously won bronze in 2022. He also won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Kerr is the co-holder of the Oceanian record and sole holder of the Oceanian indoor record. Hamish Bennett is a New Zealand filmmaker born in 1978. He is best known for writing and directing the critically acclaimed film '' Bellbird'' (2019). Hamish Clive Carter (born 28 April 1971 in Auckland) is a New Zealand triathlete. He won the gold medal in triathlon at the 2004 Summer Olympics, his second Olympic games. Carter also competed on the International Triathlon Union World Cup circuit as a professional for many years, culminating in a silver medal in 2006 before announcing his retirement early in 2007. During his career he won twelve ITU world cup races. Carter attended Auckland Grammar School where he was a successful rower, competing twice in the Maadi Cup.
