With physical trauma or disease suffered by an organism, healing involves the repairing of damaged tissue(s), organs and the biological system as a whole and resumption of (normal) functioning. The Rt Rev William Woodcock Hough (19 December 1859 – 8 March 1934) was an Anglican Bishop, the second Bishop of Woolwich from 1918 to 1932. William Woodcock Hough was born into a medical family, son of the eminent surgeon James Hough, FRCS, JP. He was educated at The Perse School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and began his working life as a school master at Wimborne Grammar School. In 1885 he was ordained by the Bishop of Salisbury and was appointed to be the Curate at Hampreston. Cecil Richard Rutt CBE (27 August 192527 July 2011) was an English Roman Catholic priest and a former Anglican bishop. Rutt spent almost 20 years of his life serving as an Anglican missionary in South Korea, a country for which he developed a deep affection. He was perhaps the last of the line of scholar-missionaries, beginning with James Scarth Gale, Homer B. Hulbert, George Heber Jones and the Anglican bishop Mark Napier Trollope who laid the foundations of what is now known as Korean studies.
