''The Glassblower's Children'' ( sv, Glasblåsarns barn) is a Swedish film, first intended to open on 25 December 1996, but ending up released to cinemas in Sweden on 27 February 1998, directed by Anders Grönros. It is based on the novel with the same name by Maria Gripe. Anders Grönros
Erik Anders Sixten Grönros (born 19 October 1953), is a Swedish film director. He was awarded the Guldbagge Award for Best Director at the 27th Guldbagge Awards, for the film ''Agnes Cecilia – en sällsam historia''. In 2007, his documentary ''Ambres – en död talar'', which dealt with the medium Sture Johansson, and the spirit called Ambres, was broadcast on SVT2. The medium are claiming that it speaks through him. Ewa Fröling
Ewa Fröling, (Eva Marie Fröling; born 9 August 1952) is a Swedish actress and director who was born in Stockholm. She is internationally most recognized for her leading parts in Gunnel Lindblom's ''Sally och friheten'' (as Sally) and Ingmar Bergman's ''Fanny and Alexander'' (as Emelie). She studied at Sweden's Theatre Academy (Teaterhögskolan) in Malmö and from 1977-88 was an actress at Sweden's national stage Dramaten where Fröling appeared in plays such as ''Stiftelsen'' directed by Alf Sjöberg, as Johanna in Bertolt Brecht's ''Heliga Johanna från slakthusen'' (Saint Joan of the Stockyards) and in Ingmar Bergman's classic 1984 staging of Shakespeare's ''King Lear'' (as Regan). Helge Jordal
Helge Jordal (born 17 February 1946) is a Norwegian actor. He was appointed a Knight of the Royal Order of St. Olav in 2006 for his long career as an actor both on screen and on stage, and for his position as a "grand old man" among Norwegian actors. Career Jordal was born in Bergen. He is one of the most prominent Norwegian actors with a significant career. Since he graduated from the Teaterhøyskolen in 1972, he distinguished himself in several roles on the film screen, television, stage and cabaret theaters across the country. He was employed at the Nationaltheateret in Oslo (1972–77), Hålogaland Teater in Tromsø, before he came to the Den Nationale Scene (DNS) in Bergen (1981).
