''Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani'' (English: Story of every home) is a 1988 Bollywood drama film directed by Kalpataru. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Jaya Prada, Govinda, Farah Naaz in lead roles. The film performed well on box office and declared hit. This film was a remake of Telugu film '' Shanthi Nivasam''. Plot The plot centers on the Dhanraj family. Mr Dhanraj (Kader Khan) and his wife (Shashikala) are extremely wealthy and live in a huge house with their children and their spouses. Kalpataru (director)
Kalpataru (born in 1937 as K Parvez) was an Indian film director best known for several hit movies such as ''Ghar Dwaar'', ''Khoon Ka Badla Khoon'', ''Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani'' and ''Bade Ghar Ki Beti.''He was known for his melodramatic family dramas. Aruna Irani (born 3 May 1946) is an Indian actress, who has acted in over 500 films throughout Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and Gujarati cinema, playing mostly supporting and character roles. Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry.
