Georgie Gardner (born 1 June 1970) is an Australian television and news presenter and journalist. Gardner is currently presenter on ''Nine News#Sydney (New South Wales), Nine News Sydney.'' She has previously been a co-host and news presenter on the Nine Network's breakfast program ''Today (1982 TV program), Today''. Early life Gardner was born in Perth, Western Australia, the daughter of Preston and Ruth. Preston was a stockbroker. He died at the age of 52 from complications during oesophageal cancer surgery.
