Nohkalikai Falls
Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is . The waterfall is located in the Indian state of Meghalaya, near cherapunji(Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of a comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season, from December to February. The Emblem of Meghalaya is the symbol used to represent the government of the state of Meghalaya, India. History The current emblem was adopted on 19 January 2022 as part of the state's golden jubilee celebrations. The design by P. Mario K. Literacy rate in India is uneven and as such, different states and union territories of India have differences in their literacy rates. The following table shows the details from 1951 to 2011 census data on total literacy rate in percentage. According to Census 2011, Kerala has the highest total literacy rate and female literacy rate whereas Lakshadweep had the highest male literacy rate. Andhra Pradesh has the lowest overall literacy rate. Rajasthan has the lowest male literacy rate, while Bihar has the lowest female literacy rate. It was established in March 2013, after making suitable amendments in the Constitution of India and North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act of 1971.
