God morgen Norge ('' English'': Good morning Norway) is a Norwegian morning-based current affairs program that has been on TV 2 since October 24, 1994. It is broadcast every morning from Monday to Friday between 06.55 and approx. 10.00 (until autumn 2008: 06.25 to approx. 09.45). English Language
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. TV 2 (Norwegian TV Channel)
TV 2 Direkte (''English: TV 2 Live'') is a Norwegian terrestrial television channel. Its headquarters are located in Bergen. TV 2 began test broadcasting on 13 November 1991, and a year later, it was officially launched on 5 September 1992, becoming Norway's first commercial free-to-air television channel. In 1992, TV 2 A/S was admitted as full active member of the European Broadcasting Union. As is common with television (and cinema) in Norway, most foreign-language shows and segments of local programmes with foreign language dialogues (e.g. interviews with foreigners) are subtitled in Norwegian, not dubbed (with a notable exception being children's programmes). Since 2012, TV 2 is owned by one of its co-founders, the Danish media company Egmont Group. TV 2 Nyheter (''TV 2 News'') is a 24-hour Norwegian language television news channel which started broadcasting on 15 January 2007. It is Norway's first national news network in Norwegian, although Nyhetskanalen did exist from 1997 to 1998. The channel's main newsroom is located in Bergen. Programming Weekdays The channel has broadcasts with presenters in the studio from 06:00 to 22:30. However the newsroom is manned the whole day and thus, the channel can quickly go on air at the last minute in case news breaks during the night. Through the night, the day's news items are non-stop in Nyhetshjulet. At the same time, a news ticker rolls across the bottom of the screen all day with updates from NTB, TV 2 Nyhetene, TV 2 Sporten, and NA24.no. The broadcasts originate from TV 2's Oslo Bureau along Karl Johans gate from 06:30 to 10:30. The news team at TV 2's headquarters in Bergen takes over from 10:30 (Økonominyhetene) until 15:00.
