Galveston Pirate SC
Galveston Pirate SC is an American soccer team based in League City, Texas. Founded in 1916, the team played until the 1940s, then reemerged in the 1960s and 1970s for a period of about seven years each time. In 2010 the team was again reborn and played in the fourth-tier National Premier Soccer League as an expansion team in 2011–12, a season they finished as the champions of the South Central Conference. Team owner Brendan Keyes relocated and re-branded the NPSL franchise for the 2013 season as Houston Hurricanes FC, but stated he will continue to use the Pirate brand in local leagues and tournaments. On March 11 Brendan Keyes announced that William Alsobrook had been named sole owner of the franchise. The team's colors are Navy Blue, Gold and White. The United States soccer league system is a series of professional and amateur soccer leagues based, in whole or in part, in the United States. Sometimes called the American soccer pyramid, teams and leagues are not linked by the system of promotion and relegation typical in soccer elsewhere. Instead, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) defines professional leagues in three levels, called divisions, with all other leagues sanctioned by the USSF not having an official designated level or division. West Indies National Football Team
The West Indies National Football Team is the team that represents the West Indies. It is not a member of FIFA, CFU or CONCACAF, but is a member of the N.F.-Board, an organisation for teams who are not members of FIFA. They were admitted to the N.F.-Board as a provisional member in 2013. The West Indies FA will use Caribbean players from all over the world who have not played with their national team and give them the opportunity to represent the West Indies and let them experience international football.
