Fuse (radio Program)
Fuse is a Canadian radio program, which aired on CBC Radio One, CBC Radio 2 and CBC Radio 3. Premiering in 2005, each week the program paired two (and occasionally three or more) Canadian musicians for an hour-long concert in which the artists collaborated on a mix of material by all of the involved artists as well as cover songs. Tal Bachman
Talmage Charles Robert Bachman (born August 13, 1970) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is best known for his 1999 hit, " She's So High", a pop rock tune from his self-titled 1999 album that led to a BMI award. Musical career 1999–2000: Debut album Bachman got his musical break when executives at EMI Music Publishing in New York City heard a demo tape, and aided him in securing a record deal with Columbia Records. Bob Rock (of Metallica, Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, and Skid Row fame) signed on to co-produce his debut album. His first album, ''Tal Bachman'', featured what would eventually become his hit single, " She's So High", which reached No. 1 on three different radio formats in Canada. Jenny Whiteley
Jenny Whiteley is a Canadian country and folk singer-songwriter. She was a member of the band Heartbreak Hill, and released several solo albums of folk music. She has won two Juno Awards for her music. Early life and family Whiteley grew up in Toronto. She is the daughter of blues musician Chris Whiteley and his wife Caitlin Hanford. Her brother is Dan Whiteley, who is also a folk musician and singer, and her uncle is folk musician Ken Whiteley. Career She began her musical career as a child, recording with Canadian children's musician Raffi along with her brother Dan. In the 1990s she performed with the bluegrass band Heartbreak Hill. Just prior to that band's breakup, she released her self-titled debut album in 2001, and followed up with ''Hopetown'' in 2004. Sarah Hope Slean (born June 21, 1977) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, composer and musician. She has released eleven albums to date (including EPs and live albums). She is also a poet, visual artist, and occasional actress. Career Major recordings Slean recorded her first EP ''Universe'' (1997) at the age of nineteen. It was followed by '' Blue Parade'' in 1998.
