Forensic Dentistry
Forensic dentistry or forensic odontology involves the handling, Inspection, examination, and evaluation of dentistry, dental evidence in a criminal justice system, criminal justice context. Forensic dentistry is used in both criminal and civil law. Forensic dentists assist investigative agencies in identifying Cadaver, human remains, particularly in cases when identifying information is otherwise scarce or nonexistent—for instance, identifying burn victims by consulting the victim's dental records. Forensic dentists may also be asked to assist in determining the age, race (human classification), race, job, occupation, previous dental history, and socioeconomic status of unidentified human beings. Wayne Boden
Wayne Clifford Boden (1948 – 27 March 2006) was a Canadian serial killer and rapist active between 1969 and 1971. Boden killed four women, three in Montreal and one in Calgary, earning the nickname The Vampire Rapist for biting the breasts of his victims, and received four life sentences. Fredrik Fasting Torgersen
Fredrik Ludvig Fasting Torgersen (1 October 1934 – 18 June 2015) was a Norwegian man who was convicted of murder in 1958 in a much-debated case, and released from prison in 1974. Serving 16 years in prison before being released, he continuously claimed his innocence. In 2013 Bjørg Njaa, a daughter of a judge in the 1958 trial, said that her father was prejudiced against Torgersen even before being assigned to the trial. In 2014 he was denied access to official recordings of then leader of the Norwegian Board of Forensic Medicine, Bjørnar Olaisen, answering to Criminal Cases Review Commission. Torgersen died on 18 June 2015, a week after his sixth call for a resumption of his case. At the time of his death, he was hospitalized with cancer. Keith Simpson (pathologist)
Cedric Keith Simpson (20 July 1907 – 21 July 1985) was an English forensic pathologist. He was Professor of Forensic Medicine in the University of London at Guy's Hospital, Lecturer in Forensic Medicine at the University of Oxford and a founding member and President of the British Association in Forensic Medicine. Simpson became renowned for his post-mortems on high-profile murder cases, including the 1949 Acid Bath Murders committed by John George Haigh and the murder of gangster George Cornell, who was shot dead by Ronnie Kray in 1966. Witchcraft is the use of Magic (supernatural), magic by a person called a witch. George Burroughs
George Burroughs ( 1650August 19, 1692) was a non-ordained Puritan preacher who was the only minister executed for witchcraft during the course of the Salem witch trials. He is remembered especially for reciting the Lord's Prayer during his execution, something it was believed a witch could never do. Early life George Burroughs may have been born in Suffolk, England, although some sources claim he was born in Scituate sometime in 1650. Another source gives his birth date and place as Virginia, 1652. He was raised by his mother in the town of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Salem Witch Trials
The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in Province of Massachusetts Bay, colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. More than 200 people were accused. Not everyone who was accused during that time had a known residency; around 151 people, nearly half that were accused, were able to be traced back to twenty-five different New England communities. Thirty people were found guilty, nineteen of whom were executed by hanging (fourteen women and five men).
