Fear Itself (comics)
"Fear Itself" is a 2011 fictional crossover, crossover comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics, consisting of a seven-issue, eponymous miniseries written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Stuart Immonen, Wade Von Grawbadger, and Laura Martin, a prologue book by writer Ed Brubaker and artist Scot Eaton, and one hundred and sixteen tie-in books, including most of the X-Men family of books. "Fear Itself" was first announced by then-Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort and X-Men group editor Axel Alonso at a press conference held at Midtown Comics Times Square on December 21, 2010. Stuart Immonen () is a Canadians, Canadian comics artist. He is best known for his work on the Marvel Comics series ''Nextwave'', ''Ultimate X-Men'', ''The New Avengers (comics), The New Avengers'', ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', and ''Ultimate Spider-Man'', the DC Comics series ''Action Comics'' and ''Superman (comic book), The Adventures of Superman'', as well as for the original Millarworld series ''Empress (comic book), Empress'', co-created with Mark Millar. Scot Eaton is a Comic book creator, comic book artist, best known for his work on ''Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man'', ''Thor (Marvel Comics), Thor'', ''X-Men: Endangered Species'', and ''X-Men: Messiah Complex''. Career In the early 1990s Eaton started penciling ''Doctor Fate'' and ''Swamp Thing'' for DC Comics. He went on to draw ''Silver Surfer'' and ''Thor (Marvel Comics), Thor'' for Marvel Comics.
