Farz (1967 Film)
''Farz'' () is a 1967 Hindi-language spy thriller film, produced by Sunderlal Nahata Dundi under the Vijaya Lakhshmi Pictures banner and directed by Ravikant Nagaich. Starring Jeetendra, Babita and music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is a remake of the Telugu film ''Gudachari 116'' (1966) and is hugely inspired by James Bond Movies. The movie had two sequels, '' Keemat'' starring Dharmendra and '' Raksha'' starring Jeetendra again. Plot Secret Agent 116 named Gopal has been assigned the case of the homicide of a fellow secret agent (303) by the head of CID, who (303) found evidence that can help identify the perpetrators. Ravikant Nagaich
Ravikant Nagaich (5 July 1931 – 6 January 1991) was an Indian film personality. He is an Indian film personality born at Atrauli, Aligarh- Uttar Pradesh, India in a Brahmin family. He started his filming career as a cinematographer in Telugu films, N.T. Rama Rao's ''Sri Seetha Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961 being his first film. With '' Farz'', he turned to Hindi movies and direction. This low-budget thriller inspired by ''James Bond'' was a surprise hit and helped Ravikant and the film's lead pair's (Jeetendra and Babita) career. Dharmendra acted as Agent 116 Gopal in '' Keemat'' (1973). Jeetendra reprised his role as Agent 116, Gopalkishan Pandey in '' Raksha'' (1982) and again in '' The Gold Medal''. Mukri
Mohammed Umar Mukri (5 January 1922 – 4 September 2000), popularly known as Mukri, was an Indian actor, who worked as a comedian in Hindi films. Born as Muhammad Umar Mukri in Uran, in Kokani Muslim Family. He started his film career with the film ''Pratima'' along with noted film actor Dilip Kumar in 1945. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi.
