FK Standard Sumgayit
FK Standard Sumgayit () was an Azerbaijani football club. They played in the AFFA Supreme League, the top division in Azerbaijani football. Founded in Baku, the club moved to Sumgayit on 12 June 2009, which changed also club's name to Standard Sumgayit. In 2010, the club's owners announced that the club will be dissolved, and they will not be participating in Azerbaijan First Division. Stadium Standard played their home games at the 15,350 capacity Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumqayit Sumqayit (or Sumgait; ; , ) is a city in Azerbaijan, located near the Caspian Sea, on the Absheron Peninsula, about away from the capital Baku. Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium
Kapital Bank Arena built next to Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium (the biggest stadium in Sumqayit, Azerbaijan), is a multi-use stadium, currently used mostly for football matches and is the home to Sumgayit City PFC. It has Kapital Bank in its name due to sponsorship purposes and has seating capacity of 1400 spectators.
