Ftn (TV Channel)
FTN (Flextech Television Network, stylized as Ftn) was a television channel owned by Virgin Media Television (formerly known as Flextech). The channel's main purpose was to exist as a highlights network for Flextech to showcase Freeview viewers the programmes from their paid channels, although it also aired its own programming. It originally launched on 15 January 2003, airing from 6:00pm-6:00am as it timeshared with UKTV Bright Ideas. It also transitioned on Virgin Media, and as a subscription channel on Sky. History The channel was announced on 3 October 2002 as part of a preparation of networks on the Freeview service. The channel's initial launch programming was announced on 1 January 2003, with a launch prepared for the 15th. FTN +1 launched on Sky and Virgin Media on 9 August 2007. Virgin1
Virgin1 was a British free-to-air entertainment television channel owned and operated by Virgin Media Television, later known as Living TV Group. The channel was launched on 1October 2007 at 21:00, intended to rival BSkyB's Sky One. Virgin Media Television had spent on acquiring major franchises as well as commissioning new TV programmes in time for the channel's launch. The channel was broadcast on Freeview, Virgin Media and Sky platforms. Virgin1 managed to achieve good ratings within a year of launching. Its broadcast hours were then extended to 24 hours, and a onehour time-shift, Virgin1+1, was launched, from 20 May 2009. Virgin1 received a refreshed logo along with a mascot, Red, in June 2009. BSkyB acquired the channel on 4 June 2010 and, as a result, it was rebranded to Channel One on 3September 2010. Sky One
Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Originally launched on 26 April 1982 as Satellite Television, it was Europe's first satellite and non- terrestrial channel. From 31 July 1989, it became Sky One and broadcast exclusively in the United Kingdom and Ireland as British Sky Broadcasting's flagship channel. ''Quiz Call'' was a TV quiz channel. It was broadcast in the United Kingdom and owned by Ostrich Media. It was also a late night / early morning phone-in quiz TV show, produced by Ostrich Media and broadcast on Five, Five US / Five USA, Five Life and Ftn. Big Game TV
Big Game TV (stylised as BIG Game TV!) was a live phone-in quiz channel that was broadcast via Sky Broadcasting in 2005. It released a spin-off, ''The Hallmark Channel Quiz'' on 6 March 2006, which was shown on The Hallmark Channel. The show used only three of the presenters. Big Game TV Productions added The Daily Quiz! on 13 March 2006. This show aired on ITV Play and on Men & Motors seven days a week and featured a selection of Big Game TV's presenters. ITV ended their involvement with Big Game TV due to fraud allegations in May 2006. Controversy Big Game TV was the subject of a City of London Police investigation brought by the BBC Radio 4 programme ''You and Yours'' in May 2006 over allegations that receptionists were told to ignore all incoming calls for long periods of time while 150-200 calls per minute were charged 75p each.

The Great Big British Quiz
The Great Big British Quiz (TGBBQ) was an interactive quiz based channel on which viewers where invited to phone in to solve puzzles in return for cash and prizes. It broadcast from studios in Battersea, London, England, and it was usually seen on Sky Digital. Its mascot was a dog called Jack who barked each time a caller was selected and put through to the studio. TGBBQ was live every day and broadcast hours varied, from 9:00 am to 1:00 am in its heyday, to 20:00 pm until 4:00 am as the quiz TV boom came to an end. The channel at one time produced and presented shows for Five and Sci Fi Channel. The show was seen on channel 840 on Sky Digital and channel 770 on NTL. Living TV Group was a British television consortium originally called Flextech from 1988 before becoming a subsidiary of Virgin Media and renamed to Virgin Media Television.
