Frisbee
A frisbee (pronounced ), also called a flying disc or simply a disc, is a gliding toy or sporting item generally made of injection-molded plastic and roughly in diameter with a pronounced lip. It is used recreationally and competitively for throwing and catching, as in flying disc games. The shape of the disc is an airfoil in cross-section which allows it to fly by reducing the drag and increasing lift as it moves through the air, compared to a flat plate. Spinning the disc imparts a stabilizing gyroscopic force, allowing it to be both aimed with accuracy and thrown for distance. A wide range is available of flying disc variants. Those for disc golf are usually smaller but denser compared to ultimate frisbee, and tailored for particular flight profiles to increase or decrease stability and distance. Frisbee (ride)
The Frisbee is a type of pendulum amusement ride featuring a circular gondola that rotates as it swings back and forth. Riders are seated on the gondola facing inward or outward, depending on the model. On some models, the entire pendulum makes a full 360 degree swing. Design and operation A pendulum is suspended between two support frames. Attached to the base of this pendulum is a circular gondola. Riders are seated in the gondola, facing either inwards or outwards. When the ride cycle starts, the gondola begins to rotate. In addition, the pendulum arm begins to swing through an arc, maxing out between 120° and 360° (full revolution). Most parks require riders to be at least tall. Caramelos de Cianuro (''Cyanide Candies'' in Spanish) is an alternative rock band from Venezuela formed in 1991. Career The band was founded by vocalist and bassist Asier Cazalis, drummer Pablo Martínez and guitar players Luis Golding and Miguel Ángel "El Enano" González. They recorded their first songs, "Nadando a Través De la Galaxia" (Swimming Across the Galaxy) and "Tu Mamá Te Va a Pegar" (Your mom is going to hit you), in 1992. (; formerly known as Jare & VilleGalle) is a Finnish rap duo made up of Jare Joakim Brand (born 8 October 1987) and Ville-Petteri Galle (born 4 October 1987). Their style is often referred to as sport rap.
