Fraktur
Fraktur () is a calligraphic hand of the Latin alphabet and any of several blackletter typefaces derived from this hand. It is designed such that the beginnings and ends of the individual strokes that make up each letter will be clearly visible, and often emphasized; in this way it is often contrasted with the curves of the Antiqua (common) typefaces where the letters are designed to flow and strokes connect together in a continuous fashion. The word "Fraktur" derives from Latin ("a break"), built from , passive participle of ("to break"), which is also the root for the English word "fracture". In non-professional contexts, the term "Fraktur" is sometimes misused to refer to ''all'' blackletter typefaces while Fraktur typefaces do fall under that category, not all blackletter typefaces exhibit the Fraktur characteristics described above. Fraktur (folk Art)
Fraktur is a highly artistic and elaborate illuminated folk art created by the Pennsylvania Dutch, named after the Fraktur script associated with it. Place of creation also includes Alsace, Switzerland, and Rhineland which are also contributed to the folk art. Most Fraktur were created between 1740 and 1860. Fraktur drawings were executed in ink and/or watercolors and are found in a wide variety of forms: the ''Vorschriften'' (writing samples), the ''Taufzettle'' (baptismal certificate), and the Taufpatenbreif (Baptism letter from Godparents), book plates, and floral and figurative scenes. The earlier Fraktur were executed entirely by hand, while printed text became increasingly common in later examples. Common artistic motifs in Fraktur include birds ( distelfinks), hearts, and tulips, as well as blackletter (Fraktur) and italic calligraphy. Hans Steinbichler
Hans Sebastian Steinbichler (born 1 November 1966) is a German film director and screenwriter. Biography Steinbichler grew up in Bernau am Chiemsee, Kothöd in Upper Bavaria. He got his Abitur at the Ludwig-Thoma-Gymnasium Prien am Chiemsee. Then he studied jurisprudence in Passau first, but in 1995 he decided to attend the University of Television and Film Munich, where he finished his studies in 2003. In the same year, Steinbichler was awarded with the Förderpreis Deutscher Film and the golden Grimme-Preis for his debut film ''Hierankl''. The leading actress Johanna Wokalek won the Bavarian Film Awards, Bavarian Film Award. In 2007, Steinbichlers film ''Winter Journey (2006 film), Winter Journey'' got several nominations for the Deutscher Filmpreis and ''Die zweite Frau'' was awarded with the Grimme-Preis. Nova Corps
The Nova Corps is a fictional intergalactic military and police force appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Marv Wolfman, the Corps first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #205 (April 1979). They have since appeared in numerous other Marvel stories set in outer space and media adaptations, such as the animated TV series ''The Super Hero Squad Show'' and the live-action film ''Guardians of the Galaxy'', the latter of which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
