Euston Bus Station
Euston Bus Station serves the Euston area of Camden, London, England. The station is owned and maintained by Transport for London. It is situated next to Euston main line railway station and above Euston Underground station and near Euston Square. It was designed by Richard Seifert and opened in 1979. There are five stands at the bus station that are served by routes operated by Arriva London, London Central, London General, London United, Metroline, Stagecoach London and Tower Transit. London Buses
London Buses is the subsidiary of Transport for London (TfL) that manages most bus services in London, England. It was formed following the Greater London Authority Act 1999 that transferred control of London Regional Transport (LRT) bus services to TfL, controlled by the Mayor of London. London Buses Route 30
London Buses route 30 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Hackney Wick and Marble Arch station, it is operated by Metroline. History By 1987 the route had been amended to run from Hackney to Earl's Court, taking about 75 minutes to complete the journey, at a frequency of one bus every 14 minutes. Driver-only operation was introduced in January 1987 with double-deckers, and three months later the route was reported to be carrying around 20,000 passengers per day. In June 2010, the route was revealed to be the sixth worst performing route in London. As a result of this, new bus priority measures were introduced on the route. Upon being re-tendered in 2010, the route was awarded to First London from 25 June 2011. On 22 June 2013, route 30 was included in the sale of First London's Lea Interchange garage to Tower Transit. The London Night Bus network is a series of night bus routes that serve Greater London. Services broadly operate between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00. Many services commence from or operate via Trafalgar Square and are extensions or variations of daytime routes and hence derive their number from these; for example, route N73 Oxford Circus to Walthamstow follows that of route 73 as far as Stoke Newington, before continuing further north. London Buses route 253 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Hackney Central and Euston bus station, it is operated by Arriva London. History Route 253 commenced operating on 1 February 1961 between Aldgate bus station and Tottenham Court Road via Bethnal Green, Hackney Central, Clapton Pond, Stamford Hill, Manor House, Finsbury Park and Camden Town as a replacement for trolleybus route 653 with AEC Routemasters. By 1994 the route, now operated by Leaside Buses, was one of the busiest in London, with a peak vehicle requirement of 50 buses operating at a frequency of one bus every two minutes. The route now runs between Hackney Central and Euston (via Clapton Pond, Stamford Hill, Manor House, Finsbury Park and Camden Town). London Buses route 205 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Paddington and Bow Church, it is operated by Stagecoach London. This bus has operated at Bow Bus Garage, upon its expansion from Mile End to Bow Church. 2015 statistics from Transport for London stated that this route was responsible for the most injuries to cyclists of any TfL bus route in London.
