Ett Kolikbarns Bekännelser
' is the third studio album by Håkan Hellström, released in 2005. The title would be translated as "Confessions of a Colic Child". Musically, the album is quite different from earlier Hellström records. The music is more folk oriented and the lyric topics are more mature, for example "Hurricane Gilbert" is about Hellström's long-time friend and guitarist Daniel Gilbert and "Jag har varit i alla städer" deals with success and its backside, in form of people trying to take advantage of Hellström. Håkan Hellström
Håkan Georg Hellström (; born 2 April 1974) is a Swedish musician. He made his breakthrough in Sweden in 2000 with the song "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg" and the album with the same name. He has released nine studio albums to date with eight reaching number one on the Swedish Albums Chart, while ''Ett kolikbarns bekännelser'' reached number two. Hellström played drums in the Swedish indie pop band Broder Daniel between 1988 and 1994, then briefly for Swedish alternative rock band Honey Is Cool with Karin Dreijer from The Knife and Fever Ray. In 1997 he rejoined Broder Daniel to play the bass, until 2003 when he left the band again to focus completely on his solo career. In 2006, following the birth of his son, he announced that he would take a break from touring and recording. Despite this, he still performed occasional gigs and continues to release very successful albums. On 5 June 2016, he performed a concert at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg that set a new at ...

Det är Så Jag Säger Det
''Det är så jag säger det'' is the second studio album by Swedish pop artist Håkan Hellström, released on 28 October 2002. In English, the title would be: "That is how I say it." Musically, the album evolved from Hellström's debut and a deepening of his widespread influences containing, among others, Brazilian samba music and Swedish folk ballad singers Evert Taube and Cornelis Vreeswijk. The music is also reminiscent of genuinely British soul artists such as Dexys Midnight Runners (more or less explicitly references in "Kom igen Lena!" ('' Come On Lena!'')) and The Redskins. The track "Minnen av aprilhimlen" (Memories of the April Sky) incorporates the chorale melody of the Bach cantata ''Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, BWV 147''. Lyrically Hellström once again draws inspiration from Bob Dylan, Paul Weller and other acknowledged lyricists. "Minnen av aprilhimlen" is possibly a vague reference to Hellström's great favourites Jesus and Mary Chain's " April Skies" and ...

Nåt Gammalt, Nåt Nytt, Nåt Lånat, Nåt Blått
' is the fourth studio album by Håkan Hellström, released on 28 December 2005. In English the title corresponds to "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue." The title describes the nature of the album—some songs are leftovers from earlier recordings, some are newly written ones and a few others are covers. For example, "Jag vill ha allting" is a cover of Luna's "I Want Everything", while "13" is a version of the Big Star Big Star was an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1971 by Alex Chilton (vocals, guiar), Chris Bell (vocals, guitar), Jody Stephens (drums), and Andy Hummel (bass). Håkan Hellström Albums
Håkan is a common Swedish given name. It has a common origin with the Norwegian given name Haakon (modern Norwegian Håkon, Danish Hakon) in the Old Norse ''Hákon''. The meaning of the name is disputed but a possible meaning is "high son" from Old Norse ''há-'' (Proto-Norse ''hauha-'') (high) and ''konr'' (kin). On Swedish runestones the name is usually written ''Hakun'' and in medieval documents usually ''Haquon'' or in the Latinised versions ''Haqvin''/''Haqvinus''. From the 16th century and onwards the name is usually written Håkan. Although in some western regions the name can be found as Håkon and Håka as late as in the 18th century. In Old East Slavic the name was written Yakun ( Cyrillic: Якун). For example, the Primary Chronicle mentions the Varangian leader Yakun that arrived in Kievan Rus' in the year 1024 and fought in the Battle of Listven. The name never became popular as a Slavic name but at least two high rank Novgorod officials had the name: the pos ...
