Eric Stokes (composer)
Eric Stokes (1930March 16, 1999) was a composer, whose work spanned an eclectic range of influences and styles. Stokes was born in Haddon Heights, New Jersey, about ten miles southeast of Philadelphia. His mother was a fine vocalist and the early artistic influence in his life. Stokes studied piano at an early age and began composing on his own in high school. He held degrees in music from Lawrence College in Appleton, Wisconsin, the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where he taught for 29 years.Eric Stokes (1930-1999)

Eric Thomas Stokes
Eric Thomas Stokes (1924–1981) was a historian of South Asia, especially early-modern and colonial India, and of the British Empire. Stokes was the second holder of Smuts Professorship of the History of the British Commonwealth at the University of Cambridge. He was the author of ''The Peasant and the Raj: Studies in Agrarian Society and Peasant Rebellion in Colonial India'' and ''The Peasant Armed: The Indian Revolt of 1857''. Eric Stokes (American Football Executive)
Eric Stokes (born December 18, 1973) is an American football executive for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to becoming an executive, he played college football at Nebraska and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He played safety for them for two seasons before being selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 1999 expansion draft before suffering an injury and retiring. In 2000, Stokes rejoined the Seahawks as a scout and worked in other personnel roles with them for a decade.
