Emily (1976 Film)
''Emily'', also known as ''The Awakening of Emily'', is a 1976 British erotic historical drama film set in the 1920s directed by Henry Herbert, produced and written by Christopher Neame, and starring Koo Stark. The story revolves around a seventeen year old girl who is pursued by various middle aged men and women. The main setting of the film is Wilton House, which was the director's ancestral seat, and the countryside around it. An X-rated film, it has a cast of mainstream actors including Victor Spinetti, Sarah Brackett, Constantin de Goguel, Ina Skriver, Jeremy Child, Jack Haig, and Richard Oldfield. Henry George Charles Alexander Herbert, 17th Earl of Pembroke, 14th Earl of Montgomery (19 May 1939 – 7 October 2003), styled Lord Herbert between 1960 and 1969 and often known simply as Henry Herbert, was a British landowner, member of the House of Lords, film director, and producer. Jack Haig (born John Cecil Coppin; 5 January 1913 – 4 July 1989) was an English actor who specialised in supporting roles, mainly in television comedy. He was best known for playing Monsieur Roger Leclerc in the British sitcom '''Allo 'Allo!'' between 1982 and 1989. Biography Haig was the son of music hall actors Bertha Baker and Charles Coppin, whose act went under the name "Haig and Esco." Pamela Cundell
Pamela Isabel Cundell (15 January 1920 – 14 February 2015) was an English character actress. She played List of Dad's Army characters#Mrs Fox, Mrs Fox in the long-running TV comedy ''Dad's Army''. She was a descendant of Henry Condell, one of the managers of the Lord Chamberlain's Men, the playing company of William Shakespeare. Henry Condell also helped put together the first folio of Shakespeare's works after his death. ''The Motion Picture Guide'' is a film reference work first published by Cinebooks in 1985. It was written by Jay Robert Nash, Stanley Ralph Ross, and Robert B. Connelly. It was annually updated through new volumes and had a CD-ROM version, which was eventually incorporated into Microsoft Cinemania. Publication history ''The Motion Picture Guide'' was first published in 1985 through Cinebooks. From 1992 through 1997, it was also published in CD-ROM format. This data was later incorporated into Microsoft Cinemania. ''The Motion Picture Guide'' series was discontinued after the 1999 Annual edition. Stanley Ralph Ross (July 22, 1935 – March 16, 2000) was an American writer and actor. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, starting his career in advertising with Chudacoff and Margulis Advertising in West Los Angeles, then soon going to work as a writer on various television shows such as the 1960s '' Batman'' series starring Adam West and also ''The Monkees'', and developed ''Wonder Woman'' for television with Douglas S. Cramer. Ross was sometimes credited as Sue Donem, a pun on "pseudonym". Career In 1958, Ross teamed with Bob Arbogast to write and record the novelty record "Chaos, parts 1 and 2".
