Elsner+Flake is a trademark used by German type foundry originally called EF Designstudios but later renamed Elsner+Flake Type Consulting GmbH and is currently based in Hamburg. The company was founded in 1986 by Veronika Elsner and Günther Flake after their ten-year freelance experience in type design, typography and digitizing of fonts and logos. The collection of digital fonts by Elsner+Flake numbers more than 2500. Branko Elsner (23 November 1929 – 17 November 2012) was a Slovenian football manager and player, most known for being the manager of the Austria national team twice. David Elsner (born March 22, 1992) is a German professional ice hockey right winger currently playing for Löwen Frankfurt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Born in Landshut, Germany, Elsner began his professional career with his hometown team the Landshut Cannibals. He was then drafted 194th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Gisela Elsner (2 May 1937 – 13 May 1992) was a German writer. She won the Prix Formentor in 1964 for her novel ''Die Riesenzwerge'' (''The Giant Dwarfs''). Early life Elsner was born in Nuremberg, Middle Franconia. In 1959, she went to Vienna to study philosophy, Germanic letters and drama. Career Elsner then lived as a freelance writer in various places: Lake Starnberg, Frankfurt, in Rome from 1963 to 1964, in London from 1964 to 1970, then in Paris, Hamburg, New York, and finally in Munich. Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film. James Brian Elsner (born 1959) is an American atmospheric scientist, geographer, and applied statistician who has made substantial contributions to understanding of the spatial, temporal, and physical relationships of tropical cyclones and tornadoes, and the influence of climate change. Elsner earned a B.S. (1981), M.S. (1984), and Ph.D. (1988) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM).
