Elitzur Ramla is a women's basketball team from Ramla, Israel. History In March 2011, Elitzur Ramla won the EuroCup Women, after a 61-53 triumph against ASPTT Arras from France. It is considered the best team in the history of Israeli women's basketball. The team also won 8 Israeli league championships and 4 Israeli State Cups. Elitzur Ramla's home court is the Kiryat Menahem Arena in Ramla, with a capacity of 2,000. Israeli Female Basketball Premier League
The Israeli Female Basketball Premier League or Ligat ha'Al (Hebrew : ליגת העל בכדורסל נשים), is a women's professional basketball league in Israel. It is currently composed of eleven teams. The league was founded in 1957. Initially the most predominant teams in the league were veteran women basketball clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, who won almost yearly during the first two decades after the establishment of the league. This changed in 1976 when the team Elitzur Tel Aviv began winning all of the league's championships for 19 years straight. During the 1990s the trend again changed as the most prominent championship winners became Electra Ramat Hasharon and Elitzur Ramla. The champions of the 2010/2011 season were Elitzur Ramla. Hanna Rulyova (née Zarytska, born 8 June 1986 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian basketball player for Turan (Kazakhstan) and the Ukrainian national team. Tanisha Lovely Wright (born November 29, 1983) is an American basketball coach and former player. Wright is currently the head coach of the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Charlotte.
