''El amor tiene cara de mujer'' is an Argentine telenovela produced by Jacinto Pérez Heredia for Canal 13 and Canal 9 in 1964. Plot The telenovela follows the lives of four women (Bárbara Mujica, Iris Láinez, Delfy de Ortega and Angélica López Gamio) who work in a beauty institute. They are of different ages, social stratums, and lifestyles. Each week, the show is dedicated one woman to allow for the participation of a larger cast. The telenovela aired for seven seasons, until it ended in 1970. To withdraw from the cast Bárbara Mujica, was incorporated in principle to Thelma Biral, and then joined the plot a fifth protagonist, a role that was played in some seasons by Claudia Lapacó and others by Silvina Rada. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Ricardo Bauleo (30 August 1940 – 24 April 2014) was an Argentines, Argentine actor. He worked most on movies and television shows. His best known roles were in ''Blood of the Virgins'' (1967), ''The Curious Dr. Humpp'' (1969) and ''Los superagentes no se rompen'' (1979). He was born in Buenos Aires. Bauleo married Thelma Stefani in 1976 but they later divorced. He then married Gilda Lousek with whom he had two daughters. Irán Eory ( fa, ایران اِئوری; 21 October 1939 – 10 March 2002, born Elvira Teresa Eory) was an Iranian-born actress. She achieved fame in Mexico after moving to that country in the late 1960s.
