Evans The Death
Evans the Death were an English indie rock band formed in London in 2011. The band consisted of brothers Dan and Olly Moss (guitars), Katherine Whitaker (vocals), Daniel Raphael (bass) and James Burkitt (drums). They released three albums. Career Their debut self-titled full-length album was released on 2 April 2012 via Fortuna Pop! and was produced by ex-Test Icicles guitarist Rory Atwell. The album was preceded by two singles, double A-Side "I'm So Unclean/Threads", on Fortuna Pop! on 6 September 2011 and "Telling Lies" on 27 February 2012. The album received critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone commenting "Raw emotion blends with slashing,whirling guitars to inject paralysis with weird power" and ''Q Magazine'' praising the way in which the band "Manage to make humdrum everyday existence sound quite magical.". The Wave Pictures are an English rock band consisting of David Tattersall (vocals and guitar), Franic Rozycki (bass guitar) and Jonny Helm (drums). Background The band has its origins in a group called Blind Summit, which David and Franic formed with Hugh Noble in Wymeswold, near Loughborough in Leicestershire, in 1998. The band changed its name to the Wave Pictures and Hugh was eventually permanently replaced by Jonny Helm. They recorded and self-released a string of albums before settling in London. Dylan Marlais Thomas (27 October 1914 – 9 November 1953) was a Welsh poet and writer, whose works include the poems " Do not go gentle into that good night" and " And death shall have no dominion", as well as the "play for voices" ''Under Milk Wood''. Let's Wrestle were an English indie rock band based in London. The band consisted of Wesley Patrick Gonzalez (vocals and guitar), Mike Lightning (bass) and Louis Scase A.K.A Darkus Bishop (drums). History Gonzalez, bassist Mike Hankin (also known as Mike Lightning) and drummer Darkus Bishop formed the band in 2005. Their debut 7" single "Song for ABBA Tribute Band" was released only two years later on Marquis Cha Cha Records. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are an American indie pop band from New York City. The band was formed by Kip Berman (vocals, guitar), Peggy Wang (keyboards, vocals), Alex Naidus (bass), and Kurt Feldman (drums) in 2007. Their current lineup includes all of the founding members, except Naidus, and the band's longtime touring guitarist Christoph Hochheim. The band broke up in 2019 after a couple of lineup changes since 2012, with Berman being the only constant member. In August 2024, it was announced that the Pains of Being Pure at Heart were reforming.
