Duniya (1984 Film)
''Duniya'' ( ''The World'') is a Hit 1984 Hindi-language action film directed by Ramesh Talwar, starring Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Rishi Kapoor, Amrita Singh in lead roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman. Plot Mohan Kumar is an honest and conscientious man working as the General Manager of a shipping company owned by his friend, Dinesh. Dinesh is a widower and his daughter, Roma is attached to Mohan Kumar, his wife Sumitra and young son Ravi. Jugal Kishore, Bhandari and Balwant, who work under Mohan Kumar, are into smuggling. When Mohan Kumar learns of their activities, the three men murder Dinesh and deviously frame Mohan Kumar for it. Mohan Kumar is helpless. Unable to prove his innocence in court, he is sentenced to a 14-year jail term. Around the same time his wife gets killed in an accident. Ramesh Talwar
Ramesh Talwar is an Indian film, theatre, television and film director, co-producer and actor. He is the nephew of the film writer, short story writer and playwright Sagar Sarhadi. Talwar began his career as a child artist in ''Love in Simla'' (1960), ''Dhool Ka Phool'' (1959) and '' Phool Aur Kaliyan'' (1960) (produced by V Shantaram; directed by Ram Gabale) which was a National Award winner – Gold medal for best children's film. He was Yash Chopra's assistant director between 1969 and 1979 and directed several films 1977 onwards. Sulabha Deshpande ( mr, सुलभा देशपांडे; 1937 – 4 June 2016) was an Indian actress and theatre director. Apart from Marathi theatre and Hindi theatre in Mumbai, she acted in over 73 mainstream Bollywood films. Mahendra Kapoor
Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' ( Hamraaz). His name however became most closely associated with patriotic songs including Mere Desh Ki Dharti in Manoj Kumar's film Upkaar.
