Double Happiness (TV Series)
Double Happiness () is a Chinese drama serial on MediaCorp Channel 8 in Singapore which was screened in 2004 and ended in Jan 2005. It stars Ivy Lee , Xie Shaoguang , Edmund Chen , Vivian Lai & Zhang Wei as the casts of this series. It consists two parts, with 70 episodes in this part of the show. It is about a family who sells fish and chips in a renowned restaurant in East Coast Road called Happy Fish. The restaurant has its ups and downs, but eventually it will come out strong, but not without tragedies and lessons learnt. In 2007 MediaCorp sold its rights to Chinese broadcaster CCTV8 and it was broadcast in China in 5 parts. It also had a rerun on Channel 8 in August 2012 to March 2013 for both seasons. The latest rerun was in Jan 2020 to Sep 2020 on weekends 7.30am. Ivy Lee (actress)
Ivy Lee (; born 16 July 1973) is a Singaporean former actress and host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1993 to 2007. Early life and career Lee graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical in 1993. The same year, she joined TCS (predecessor of MediaCorp) after winning the biannual Star Search and clinching the "Miss Photogenic" title at the same contest. At the Star Awards 2006, Lee was awarded the Best Actress award for her role as a lawyer in the drama serial ''Family Matters''. Before that, she was also named the ''Best Actress'' another two times; the first in 2000, and then in 2004. Aileen Tan
Aileen Tan (born 18 October 1966) is a Singaporean actress. Life and career She was educated at the now defunct Willow Secondary School. Tan was often cast in leading roles in the first 15 years of her acting career, but has since played supporting roles in recent years. She has been nominated multiple times in the ''Best Actress'' category at the annual Star Awards. Star Awards 2004 was a television award telecasted in 2004 as part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Brandon Wong (; born 16 September 1971) is a Malaysian born Singaporean actor. He was born in Malaysia. He is able to speak Mandarin, English, Malay, Cantonese. Moses Lim
Moses Lim (born 12 December 1949) is a Singaporean actor, television host, comedian and food connoisseur, best known for playing Tan Ah Teck in the Singaporean sitcom '' Under One Roof (1995 - 2003)''. Education Lim took his primary school education at Catholic High School, secondary school education at Maris Stella High School and Pre-University education at Anglican High School. Yao Wenlong (, born 14 November 1970) is a Singapore based Malaysian actor. Chen Tianwen
Chen Tianwen (born 28 March 1963) is a Singaporean actor. Career Chen was educated at the now-defunct Serangoon Garden Secondary Technical School. He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now Mediacorp) after completing the 5th artiste drama training class and made his debut in 1984. Hong Huifang (born Ang Hwee Fong on 7 January 1961) is a Singaporean actress. Career Hong joined the SBC during the mid-1980s after completing the 5th drama training course alongside Yang Libing and Chen Tianwen, at age 22.
