Kjeld Petersen
Kjeld Petersen (1 July 1920 – 24 May 1962) was a Danish film and stage actor. He appeared in 41 films between 1945 and 1962, and also enjoyed successes as dramatic stage actor and revue comedian, particularly in a crazy comedy duo with Dirch Passer, under the name "The Kellerdirk Brothers", lasting through the 1950s until his death. He was born in Copenhagen and died in Frederiksberg, Denmark, suffering a stroke in his home following a successful opening performance at the ABC Theatre in which he performed alongside Passer. In the 2011 Danish Dirch Passer biopic ''A Funny Man'', Petersen was depicted by Lars Ranthe. A 2013 Danmarks Radio documentary series presented Petersen as one of the "Fantastic Four" of Danish comedy, along with Passer, Jørgen Ryg and Preben Kaas. Ib Christian Albert von Cotta Schønberg (23 October 1902 – 24 September 1955) was a Danish film actor, and is considered one of the leading actors of Danish film in the 20th century. Early life The son of a chemist, Ib Schønberg was interested in acting from an early age. He made his debut in 1920 and worked for more than ten years as a stage actor. Career Schønberg made his screen debut in Benjamin Christensen's 1922 horror/documentary ''Häxan''. By the 1930s he was an established comic actor, often in main roles as leaders of buffoon duos, well-meaning policemen, or more substantial "uncle types". During World War II he suddenly appeared as a dramatic actor, and from then until his death he maintained his position as one of the greatest actors of Danish art films, playing serious roles alongside comic roles. Elith Pio
Viggo Elith William Pio (3 July 1887 – 10 February 1983) was a Danish actor of stage, screen, radio and television. He is most noted for starring roles in films such as Carl Theodor Dreyer's '' Leaves from Satan's Book'', Johan Jacobsen's '' Jenny and the Soldier'' and Benjamin Christensen's ''Häxan''. Theatre Elith Pio made his theatre debut in 1907 as a member of the Peter Fjelstrup's theater company. He worked in various theaters in Denmark until 1931, when he was employed by the Royal Danish Theatre. He remained a member of the Royal Theatre until his retirement in 1974. Alice O'Fredericks
Alice O'Fredericks (born Mitzi Otha Alice Frederiksen; 8 September 1899 – 18 February 1968) was a Danish actress, screenwriter, and film director. She is best known for directing the series of '' Far til Fire'' (''Father of Four'') comedies and the series of family dramas based on Morten Korch novels. Having written 38 produced screenplays and directed 72 feature films, O'Fredericks was one of the most prolific directors in Danish cinema. O'Fredericks also directed the first Danish films which highlighted women's rights.
