Den Haag HS Railway Station
Den Haag HS (English: The Hague HS), an abbreviation of the original name Den Haag Hollands Spoor (''The Hague Holland Rail''), is the oldest train station in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands, located on the Amsterdam–Haarlem–Rotterdam railway. History Hollands Spoor opened on 6 December 1843, after the Amsterdam–Haarlem railway, the oldest railway in the country, had been extended to The Hague. This line was further extended to Rotterdam in 1847. At the time, the area was a grassland and belonged to the municipality of Rijswijk. Lacking the people to manage law enforcement around the station, Rijswijk ceded the land to the municipality of The Hague. The railway station was named ''Holland Spoor'', after the company which operated it, the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij. Morgenstond (, literally ''Morning'' or ''Dawn'') is a ' wijk' in the south of The Hague in the Escamp ' stadsdeel'. Scheveningen
Scheveningen is one of the eight districts of The Hague, Netherlands, as well as a subdistrict (''wijk'') of that city. Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kiteboarding. Delft Railway Station
Delft is the main railway station of the city of Delft, South Holland, Netherlands. It is located on the oldest railway line in the country, between the stations of The Hague Central and Rotterdam Central. Along with a new 2.3 km rail tunnel under the city centre, the current station opened on 28 February 2015. The new building, which integrates the station hall with the city's municipal offices, was designed by Mecanoo, an international architecture firm that originated in Delft. Tanthof is a quarter in the South of Delft, the Netherlands. It was built in the 1970s and 1980s and consists mainly of low-rise buildings. The area is divided in two parts, Tanthof-East and Tanthof-West. West and East Tanthof-West and Tanthof-East were separated on purpose by the old road to Abtswoude, in the South of Delft. These two areas are directly connected to each other only for pedestrians and bicyclists. When the quarter was designed, the architects followed the old creeks. The Hague Tram ( nl, Haagse tram) is a tram network forming part of the public transport system in and around the city of The Hague in South Holland, the Netherlands.
